First of all, the fact that there are less long distance calls being made doesn't mean that there is no demand for VoIP services. The second one, about the monopolies, is not true any more for at least a decade. Since the introduction of competition in de telco market, many companies have emerged. VoIP will disrupt everything, but to achieve this, first strategic behavior of existing companies must be overwon and legislation must adapt. <BR/><BR/>The same happens in the US.
