Word of mouth

In my childhood's times women like my mother spent a lot of time chatting on the balcony of their apartment with other housewives.
And among the topics discussed very often one suggested the other some miraculous product for this or that or you just got the chance to ask advices for this or that.
That was called "word of mouth" and it worked pretty well.
If this cough syrup worked for Mario, who was our neighbors' son, it certainly would work for me.
And in most cases it did.
Now the balconies are empty because housewives have become employees or something else, but word of mouth still works and is still very sought of.
How?
We now have a huge balcony, that covers the globe whose only impediment is the language (but also for that Google can come at your rescue): the Internet.
For example, if you are looking for good advices on hemorrhoids (which is a painful problem)you can find on the Internet reviews and ranking of the best products to stop Hemorrhoids.
It is a new way of "word of mouth" much better than the previous one, because it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and may be it is more "professional".
You can compare the products on the market, see the customers' review and decide what better fits your needs.
You can also contribute and leave a comment or review or just tell your opinion.
But they do not only talk about Hemorrhoids.
You can also find for example which anti-wrinkles product gives the best all around benefits for your health and the best over all value.
