It's interesting and instructive to read The New York Times' lead story this morning, Top Goldman Leaders Said to Have Overseen Mortgage Unit.
I bet they did, and I am not an economist.
Why would have they bet on it?
Usually when you bet on a horse you think it will win.
It is the Mafia that KNOWS it will win.
