"It never rains in Southern California..."
That is what they used to sing in my times.
And, it is not TRUE.
The first time I was in Los Angeles, it rained no stop for three days.
I guess it was the only three days since long, but I got them.
Useless saying I was very disappointed, but I managed to make a good experience out of a bad weather.
How?
First I visited the Aquarium of the Pacific.
There the rain doesn't bother you.
And you can have the most exciting experience, since you can be face-to-face with the ocean's ultimate predator in the Shark Lagoon, enjoy a film combining state-of-the-art 3-D technology and digital animation projected across 8 giant screens, meet specimens of the variety of life in one of the most biologically productive and diverse seas in the world.
Second I had a Medieval Times Dinner in an 11th century style castle with every detail painstakingly re-created, could look at an authentic jousting tournament between 6 brave knights, see the Museum of Torture.
Next day I had a Hollywood Behind-The-Scenes Tour where Actor-guides offer rare access inside famous Hollywood landmarks while narrating "Tinseltown" history.
Of course ALL was possible thanks tosightseeing tours. The offer is huge and, weather allowing, you can have the best experiences not only in Los Angeles, but in most of the cities of USA.
