Is it better to write something originally stupid or something unoriginally intelligent?
I think QUALITY should ALWAYS prevail.
The whole world is built on each generation handing on the results of their experience to the next generation.
And I was taught on the whole five years of high school how to best copy what the others before us did.
First the Greeks, then the Latins, then what came after.
A cultured man is nothing else than somebody who studied a lot and learned a lot by imitating and copying.
You learn to talk by copying the ones who talk to you.
You learn to write by copying the ones who wrote before you.
And if you are really good, then you can even go a little bit further and writing something new and intelligent...
And if you are not, it doesn't matter, there are so many who already write...
